The evil Alien Nekross are on their way, intending to consume as much magic as they can to fuel their desires of conquest. Now Tom and his brainy best friend Benny must combat the Nekross, thwart their plans at every turn, and safeguard the Earth with a blend of Science and Sorcery!

Seen the first two episodes, not all that impressed if I'm honest. Now I'm quite far from the program's target audience. (Fast approaching 30) but the same can be said for it's predecessor, the Sarah Jane Adventures and that particular program proved to be far more mature and adult then the so called adult spin off Torchwood at times.
Now you might throw in the argument that we've only seen two episodes so far, give it a chance. But in the slot WvsA has now, for the previous 6 weeks there was another kids series called 'Wolfblood' about this young teenager who has far different puberty changes to worry about than her classmates, she can turn into a wolf, and there is a whole 'wolfblood culture' to learn about that as well. All in all the filming quality and the acting (of some 19-20 somethings playing down their ages very effectively) worked really well and would be something I wouldn't be embarrassed to be caught watching unlike this Wizards vs Aliens.

    This too shall pass.
