    Hi

We are moving house soon and currently have sky hd and multiroom. Can someone tell me if I would be better off telling Sky we are moving house, or cancelling the current subscription and setting up a new subcription in my wife's name? Is there any benefit to doing this?

I see on the website that the 2tb is now €49 for new customers with HD pack before Oct 31st.

Sky also have a refer a friend scheme where you get €50 cashback if you refer a friend, and the friend gets 1/2 price Sky for the first 2 months.

Does anyone have any idea what the new offers will be like when broadband is rolled out?

    Thanks

Ring them and tell them you are moving house (30 days notice required). When they ask (which they will) tell them you are going with UPC at new address. Decline their first two offers. Consider their final offer ;)

Or ditch Sky and buy a G2 Humax freetime. No subscription, brilliant EPG, catch-up/on demand, most of same channels.
