    1st Goalscorer question

    Anybody know why bookies dont pay out on an own goal as first goalscorer

    had David luiz backed at weekend first goalscorer v man united he is credited with O.G on sky sports / newspapers but bookie saying own goals dont count.

    Own goals don't count as the bookies would have to price up own goal in the 1st goalscorer market.
    You couldn't have been paid as DL scored the 1st goal for the other team, not for his own team.

    i know that but is not an own goal still technically the first goal scored checked bookie rule & limits and no mention of own goal scored being void !

    You didnt back him to score for Man Utd.

    Its in most bookies rules on the first goalscorer market, own goals do not count.
