    1st Goalscorer question

    Anybody know why bookies dont pay out on an own goal as first goalscorer

    had David luiz backed at weekend first goalscorer v man united he is credited with O.G on sky sports / newspapers but bookie saying own goals dont count.

    eh because he scored against his own team. when an own goal is scored your bet is still open so if luiz had eqalised making it 1-1 you would have won the bet

    I backed Suarez in the Liverpool v Everton game. Thought he had nabbed the first .. no OG. Which didnt count in the bet. He got the 2nd goal of the game but this counted as the first scored.

    Too easy to cheat if you could score an own goal and clean out the bookies.

    You need a lot more players involved to fix other markets without being very obvious.
