Gas boiler disposal

Hi all, I recently upgraded the gas boiler. I have the old one sitting in the back yard and am unsure what to do with it? Do I bring it to the civic amenity center? I have a rubbish skip arriving tomorrow, maybe I can just chuck it into that? Anyone know?
