Can anyone help? The sound is gone on the UPC, I've tried another scart and still nothing. I have checked that it is all in firmly and this is an ongoing thing, one day it will be fine and the next nothing, it might come back but if you turn it off at night then the next day it is gone again. The playstation works and has sound so it's not the tv, any suggestions??

Does increasing the volume using yourt TV remote make any difference? Once you're sure it's not the batteries, you could just check the volume using your UPC remote by going to Menu=> Settings=> TV Settings=> Volume & make sure it's up to max. Otherwise it's probably best to log a fault with 1908. The box may need to be replaced.
