JFK flight query

    Hi, sorry for posting this type of question, but Delta are not answering phones and someone working in Dub airport might know...so a relation is due to fly to JFK tomorrow with Delta around 10am. While Delta show the flight as scheduled, I'm guessing the plane is not stranded in Dublin. I'm assuming the flight will not happen as JFK is closed today. Sound about right? Thanks..

    Yes the aircraft is in Dublin on the remote stands, if your relative is booked on tomorrow's flight they will go on tomorrow's flight(if its operating), the delayed passengers will have to fit in and around the booked passengers. It doesn't work on the basis that it's their plane therefore they go first.

    Surprised to hear it is parked up in Dublin. Thanks very much for the info.

    Edit: Delta now cancelled for tomorrow, guess it might be the same for the other JFK-bound airlines.

    I guess it was cancelled before yesterday's return flight. Parked up with a US airways and a United aircraft.

    Delta aren't answering because their phones are ringing off the hook due to the large amount of people requiring rebooking.
