Anyone got any recent reviews of the place.

Which course is better to play and what are the main differences between the east and west?

I've never played either and just trying to find out which would be best to play first.

    Cheers in advance.

I haven't played the East course, but got to play the West course a few weeks ago.
The day was perfect for golf, a wee bit of breeze with beautiful sunshine, so I got to see the course at its best.
It's a terrific course, lots of elevation changes, some wonderful shots and stunning views.
The difficulty with the course are the greens. Everything runs from the mountain towards the clubhouse, get that into your head early and you'll have a chance of avoiding a three putt.

I'm told the West is better than the East.

I much prefer the original old East course to the West. Great hitters course and very fair.

Played it recently for first time in years. One of my favourites in the area. Don't go anywhere near back sticks or your heart will be broken with 3 wood second shots!

Both fantastic courses - I think I prefer the East - good golf will be rewarded. The west is equally as nice but you can be punished in the greens. You won't be disappointed with either.

Both are super courses which are a pleasure to play. I prefer the newer West course as there are some simply spectacular elevated tees to let fly from. As mentioned, the greens on the West are very undulating and extremely tricky in the height of summer. The par 5 16th is a stand out for me.:D
