    Hi all,

Not sure if it is an issue but i start a new job tomorrow but due to a payroll issue i need to wait 1 month for my final days pay from the old job.

I was wondering does this affect the taxation i will receive in the new job as it is paid weekly and not monthly like the old job and i'll technically be on two payrolls?

    Thanks for the help.

You'll have to pay emergency tax at first at the higher rate but you will be able to claim that back

Until your old job issues a P45, the new job will apply emergency tax. When the new job gets the P45, it will all be sorted out.
