Yep, they are (part) of the Boland Car Supermarket Chain.
The have just opened a new Audi garage on a green field site on the Cork Raod in Waterford.

Sounds unusual. Audi have new dedicated centre of excellence and I thought that was why Laharts lost the franchise. Silly move by Audi that as they were a huge seller in Kilkenny always.
Why would they go back in with a Renault garage. Makes no sense.
What have they up in terms of signage? Is it major or just flag type stuff?

Seems weird. They made a big song and dance about their new dedicated centre of excellence around the country which are mostly stand alone Audi garages...but in KK they are bunking in with middle of the road Renault?
Sure it wasn't a Dacia sign you noticed per chance? Renault's budget brand, just launched in Irl.

It was defo a Audi sign I seen. Also seen all the cars in that garage was all up the top and only construction machines there. That was on Monday

I must take a spin out there for a look! So they are doing construction work. I thought Audi were insisting on stand alone garages ie Audi centres.

Things mustn't be so bad if Audi are opening a new showroom, someone has money.

Bit cheeky where they stuck the sign too, looks directly into Laharts ;)
They are doing what looks like very small building work at the end of the Renault showroom. Does not look anything like provision for a full Audio dealership. Hard to know exactly what's going on really.

Yea I was thinking same!! Laharts had a better Audi showroom IMHO. There's a big gap of "no Audi" between Naas and Waterford so it makes sense to have one in Kilkenny.

I'm delighted they decided to come to KK but it looks like more like an excuse of a garage unlike Laharts who have/had a gorgeous showroom.

Yea I never said it did but O Briens looks like a cheap Audi garage

I thought Audi were trying to get away from small garages and wanted big specialised "centres". And now this, seems to fly in the face of their recent policy.

I would say that it is s "satelite"garage of their Waterford place. You are right about the size of the site but I think they are getting away with it because of the invetment they made in Waterford and more importantly the volume of Audi sales in KK.
Either way good luck to them
