P.A system Needed for MOVEMBER! A good cause!

Hey guys,

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Leah Gillson. I have just completed a Wedding and Events Management Course and have been seeking work in events for a while now. Due to lack of experience and the economic climate, events jobs are hard to come by. So I have decided to plan my own events in my spare time as I am eager to make this my career.
At the moment I am planning a few events. The next one will be “Bros with a Mo” for Movember. I’m sure you’re aware of Movember, it is a non-profit organisation that encourages men to grow a moustache for the whole month of November in order to raise money to help support Action Prostate Cancer, an initiative from the Irish Cancer Society, as well as encouraging men to get themselves checked out.
I have tried to get a local venue and sound company to support the event but I have not received that important response, So I have decided to advertise elsewhere. Being a charity Event, I need all the support from local businesses to make this event a success. It would be great if you could or know anyone that would be willing to support this charity by donating or working with myself on the technology side. To make the event exciting and interesting so that people want to attend, I would have a band/s and local DJ ‘s paying play for a few hours.

Any assistance would be much appreciate but the main goal would be to gain a PA equipment etc for the band and DJ.

Sorry the event will be held in venue in Dublin City Centre. No where has been booked yet as i didnt know if i could get a PA system.

Ideally i need a confrimed PA system soon or the event will have to be cancelled.

The theme is Movember. I have one local band playing at the moment but I hope to get a few more. I was thinking about a DJ after the band/s This depends on how many bands I have, the audience and the type of music the DJ will play. I’m guessing you are a DJ, what sort of music do you play? PM a set list or pod cast.

Hey Guys,
Things were coimg together, I had a venue, bands organised and a company donating their time and PA system to support the Movember event. However I received an email at the weekend from this company informing me that they have cancelled our agreement. This has left me in a bit of a mess, I have a venue and bands but no PA system, if anyone knows of a company or someone willing to donate theirs in aid of charity please let me know. All the help would be much appreciated.
