i5 vs i7 comparison for mobile versions?

    Hi thinking of getting a gaming laptop but don't intend on paying alienware prices so the question is for solely gaming purposes does the i5 game well as the i7?

    I know for desktop the i5 3570k is king for gaming, but was wondering is this true as well for there mobile counterparts?

    And where are a couple of places I could buy a custom one from at a good price?
