    Hi,
I play guitar and harmonica and I am looking for like minded acoustic musicians who would like to meet up every couple of weeks or so for a good auld jam.Nothing too serious, just a relaxed session where anyone can play a song and everyone else improvises. I'm thinking guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin players, anything really! and the more the merrier!
I love playing all sorts of genres from the blues to a bit of folk, trad etc.I have a varied taste in music from Blind Boy Fuller, Neil Young, Dylan, Clapton to Crowded House. I wouldn't rule anything out.
I know a place to jam for a reasonable price if enough people are interested.

I'd be intersested in this, I live a good bit away from D15 but if it was only every couple of weeks I could make it.

Excellent stuff! I was thinking every couple of weeks would keep it a regular meeting without being too much of a commitment. What instrument do you play?

Guitar same as yourself, and similar taste in music. I have a resonator also, which might add something to the mix.

Hi. Any idea where you'd be thinking of having the meet up. I'd be interested if it was a fairly casual thing. Get back to me.

Hi, I was thinking of using Camelot Studios. They are based beside Tyrrelstown and charge 50 euro for 4 hours. They have all the amps, PA equipment you could want. It would be just a case of plug in and play. Or we could just play unplugged.

Cool, I've heard people mention that as a good place but I've never been there myself. I'd be interested in the sessions if you get it going.

I'm a guitarist too. I guess you'll have a good few guitarists interested.

I played there once and it is a fine set up with about 4 rehearsal rooms. Im hoping to get at least 4 people but the more the merrier.I'd imagine there will be mostly guitarists interested but that's fine.

I have had some more replies in the form of PM's. So far there are 5 or 6 people interested.I know its hard to suit everyone but
how do the following dates suit? Monday evening 3rd Dec, Tuesday evening 4th Dec, Sunday Morning or evening 9th Dec, Monday evening 10th Dec.
Get back to me with the dates that suit you and I will then book the studio. Please post your replies on the thread rather than PM's,its easier to keep track then. Also, have a think about what songs you would like to play!
