Mostly massey, old school and perfectly fine. Not the hardest metal out there but well able to do work and easy to repair. Personally, I quite like them.

You obviously never did a long day on one.:P I spent a month mowing silage on one and was delighted to see a Ford 7810 back in action.

They're not built for that, they're a fine yard tractor or light work yoke, if you did a day on a 165 or a 188, you'd be just as shook or worse. Horses for courses.

An ursus 1224. 145hp and as long as a barge? Wouldn't like to be trying to turn in my yard with one. I do take your point though that if you want comfort go and pay for it.
