In the meantime he should resign for this abuse of his position of public office.

Wouldn't happen to be a lifelong Fianna Failer by any chance, would ya?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

7 months to get a letter from Dept of Justice

    Shatter on a go-slow

Considering that the person who had to wait seven months for a response from the department is the country's head of government, just imagine how long an ordinary poor schmuck citizen would have to wait!:rolleyes:

Somehow or other, though, what Enda is alleged to have done in this case may be open to question, but it's hardly axe murder. There's no shortage of much more significant wrongdoing that the Gardai could devote their resources to investigating. :):)

Let's investigate all the 'alledged' wrong doings of the previous government before we worry about this.

Like Biffo and his Anglo golf outing.

This is a story about the Taioiseach's office forwarding correspondence to another Minister. That's how our country works and always has done.
Another feeble attempt to get a dig at Kenny. If you want him out, get him for failing at his actual job, not at something one of his staff did?

For a political it is part and parcel of the job to put in a good word when you know someone facing a day in court.

Nope, I despise them as much as I despise FG.

Different sides of the same coin.

No, it's not, it's corrupt interference. Nobody, politican or otherwise, has the right to meddle in a court case.

A Sindo 'exclusive'? Forgive me if I'm a tad cynical as to the percentage of actual facts contained in this...

More rubbish from the Sindo no doubt. Every week they come up with some spin and then the politicians have to come out wasting their time putting the lies to right. This is a pile of steaming crap and will come to nothing i'm sure. I don't know why people take the indo at face value.

Yes let's make an example of of him, no other former Taoiseach ever crossed the line of course.

I hear Rosanna Davison is getting her tits out again but its not until next week.

Oh dear, what will they fill the front page /paper with now....

Anyway the problem with Enda Kenny / Irish politics is not the letter, its much deeper than that but its nice to see the **** stirrers at work.

It's worth reading the other side of the story I think:

    http://www.rte.ie/news/2012/1028/alan-shatter-sunday-independent.html

The Sindo is a joke of a newspaper. Interesting to note that they regarded their "exclusive" so poorly that they did not enable comments on it on their website.

    Criminal activity! What crime exactly?

Your call for Enda Kenny to resign is politically motivated - nothing to do with any criminal activity or abuse of office.

    Stupid thread.

I don't care if it's a trivial offence, lets hang the cnut and blame it on this. We can think of better reasons later if anyone asks. Personally I think we should use Gilmore as the rope.

You'd be in favour of chasing biffo, a man retired from public eye, and whose actions are done and dusted, over apprehending the head of a still in power govt, trying to pull strings and meddle in affairs he shouldn't?

    Any wonder the countries banjaxed.

    'Shatter defends his boss' shocker.

In other FG related news, I see old faithful is to be sued for defamation of character.

The party that just keeps giving and giving.

No need to use Gilmour. He has put the noose around his own neck and is a gonner. Funny how he can't seem to see that though.

I'd say after awarding themselves pay rises and extra holidays for next year, he couldn't give a shyte Tayto.

Sindo contained a defamatory headline on Kenny, he did not meddle or intervene. Sibdo at its usual campaign to harrass and bring him down, but they wont. Went to town on him on Sunday 21st. Oct over Merkel comments, but not a word of retraction yesterday.

I saw through him, but too late. Have not had a plastering job for past six months.
