Hi all. I am a bit wet behind the ears when it comes to cycling!

After doing quick 10km short cycle this evening I have realised my above knee halfords shorts and cheap jacket and thin wool gloves dont cut the mustard!

Despite that up to 8th place on Whitworth Road segment on Strava! Yay! (Damn I can see myself getting addicted!)

Anyway since I was thinking of heading to the Tri zone which is at the Marathon Expo in the RDS tomorrow, I was wondering what essentials (on my limited budget) would be useful to pick up!

I was thinking full length trousers and maybe decent gloves (bear in mind that my entire cycling wardrobe consists of the above mentioned already!).

i find full length trousers, pref bib trousers, long sleve jersey/ jacket and full finger gloves are a must.
if your using clipless pedals/shoes then overshoes are a must too especially this time of the year....hell irish summers arnt that warm either.
check your local aldi/lidl store. mine has some winter l/s jerseys on sale at the minute.
