Has anyone been fitted using one of these?

    What was it like?

Does anyone know who uses them when fitting?

I tried this out in Halpenny's.....it sounds a lot more glamorous than it actually is. They stick a plastic clip (about 3-4 inches long )on the shaft below the grip. This measures a few things like swing speed .....three swings needed and then they show you what shaft you should be using....generally 2-3 come up.

You can get to try these different shafts whereby they place stickers on the club face and see how well you hit the sweet spot on the club by blasting a few into the net...this should narrow it down to one preferred shaft.

In a full fitting they will measure for loft/lie separately afterwards by monitoring how the base of the club strikes a plastic kickboard......this is my understanding but I am open to correction if I have taken any of this up wrong.
