Hazelnuts?

I have quite alot of trees on the farm and a tonnes of hazel nuts, i wonder is there anything that can be made out of them, any food treats? Or should I just leave them to rot and let the squirrels have the rest of them?

Nuts are very expensive to buy in shops. You're lucky to have a free supply! Add them to salads and stir-fries. Eat them raw, roasted or fried in olive oil. Great source of antioxidants and vitamin E
