    Hi

Hope this thread title is clear.

I'm looking for an extractor hood like this:

Does anyone know do they come with the outlet at the bottom rather than at the top? Are there any models that are adjustable?

Bought one in B&Q and it only had the outlet at the top, but where we have the hole in the wall means it will have to be at the base, so had to return it - they actually didn't have any with outlet at the bottom.

Have seen other models elsewhere but they were fairly expensive and we're looking for a model around the 100 euro mark (something basic really).

    Thanks!

2 hopes of getting one with a bottom outlet

Bob hope and no hope...and especially for 100 euro too
    .

The metal stack is more for looks,it also hides the outlet and any ducting, and provides some ventilation too thats the only real purpose of the stack.

Fumes, steam and heat from a hob rise so thats why they are built with top mount motors and outlets.

The chimney of the hood is only for looks. Sometime you can spin the motor in the fan and have the outlet at the back but at the bottom can't be the outlet if the inlet is there.

A good bit,at the end of the day they want a sale and your money.

Play hard ball and say you have other quotes and prices.

I dealt with the trade counter.

Got the design team to do up a scaled floorplan and 3D design that suited my needs and the layout of the new kitchen/dinning area.

Once I was happy with it,I bypassed the sales team in the showroom and went to the trade counter instead, and got a fantastic deal there.:)
