Anyone here know anything about the electrical system on the Laguna,

wipers don't work, so checked the fuse and it's ok, so pulled them all out just to be sure and there is a 20amp gone, but thats for the stop lamps, put a new one back in, foot on the brake and gone again, so now I have no wipers and no stop lights. All this on a Saturday afternoon, perfect.

Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be.

    Thanks.

Wipers and brake lights are on the same fuse on them.

Start by disconnecting the rear light clusters and third brake light and see if the problem stops.

I was actually thinking about that, because I had it wired for a trailer, and just thinking there might be a loose connection or something back there. But first I have to get more fuses somewhere, and I dont think that is going to be possible, long weekend .
I was talking to another guy and he said it could be the UCH, but I hope not.

On the inside of the panel that you open to get to the fuses, it says that the wipers are on a 30amp fuse looking at the diagram and the 20 ( on the opposite side ) is for the stop lamps

If you've a trailer socket then that has to be suspected. Did you wire the plug after the cluster plugs - I.e if you plug out the clusters out will the trailer socket be unplugged too?

Got sorted this morning, it was a stripped wire in the back right hand tail light.
When I got the toe bar fitted and wired, (2 years ago ) one of the wires was kinked when the light was but back and eventually wore of the insulation rubbing against the body.

    Thanks.
