Cans of Bitter

    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is anywhere in Ireland where I can get cans of bitter like Boddingtons or John Smiths. I got a real taste for it while over in Manchester. And for some reason, hangovers are almost non-existant! (Lager gives me banging hangovers every time) I've asked in a few places and most people look at me like I'm speaking in some strange language.

Have you looked in the specialist beer section in Tesco? 5 bottles for a tenner.

I've never seen Boddys or Smiths over here but you'll find much nicer then that.

If you like them you'd probably like Caledonia Smooth, see if any of your locals are stocking it.

Tesco Online are showing 4 cans of Fullers London Pride or 4 cans of Old Speckled Hen for €5.99.

Drinkstore who deliver nationally have a large range of bottled and a smaller range in canned of UK ales/bitters etc. Good thing about these is alot of products if you buy a case or more theres a bit knocked off (see unit price vs 24 price)

Try getting some McArdles or Bass. The flavour isn't fantastic but I'd prefer both over generic canned lager.
