Enviornmental impact assessment

Thinking of doing one of these as I have some ditches I want gone not many one or two. Moved one this year so will have to do this if I want to move more. Was wondering has anyone any experience of this? Timescale what's inspected hassle, etc? Cheers

Unless you are planning on removing huge lengths of ditches (>4km) you wont need an EIA, if more than 500m have to apply to Dept for screening. Have a read of this:

Ablur. Much appreciated, was speaking to teagasc advisor before I did last job n he thought I'd have to get an eia to do more work but this looks like music to my ears!
I'll get onto him in morning n see what he thinks of this! Thanks again

I'd consider moving advisors while I was at it.
