    Hi,

Looking to get a French Bulldog or a Boston Terrier and looking for info on cataracts. If both parents are noted as having been tested for HC-HSF4 and are DNA Hereditarily clear, does this mean that the dog cannot get this form? As far as I understand to get junior cataracts both parents must have the gene?

Are there other conditions I should be more worried about?

sorry dont know anythig about cataracts. Lovely , and expensive dogs but rare in Ireland. Are you looking at UK breeder? Good luck with your research and search
