    Anyone had this procedure done?
It's been recommended to me, as I have an extremely high prescription. But it's very expensive and also not as widely done as laser, so just looking for opinions! :)

Never had it done but think I would prefer implanatable contact lenses over having lasik or lasek done, since its a reversible procedure. Do you know can you be given a general anaesthetic for this procedure or do they only give you a sedative? If they give general anaesthetic I would be interestd in having it done.
