Installing original Firmware on Galaxy Ace

Hi, I plugged my Samsung Galaxy Ace into my PC and Samsung Kies suggested to install the new firmware 2.3.5 (original is 2.2.1). Ever since installing the new firmware, the phone is crawling. Really laggy when unlocking screen, starting/ending calls and generally opening/closing apps.

I performed a factory reset but no joy. Anyone know how I can reload the original firmware please?
