Private Kickboxing Tuition (Dundalk area)

Hi,

I go to kickboxing classes twice a week and also spar once/twice a week aswell. I love it and the people and instructor are great, but as the classes are quite big, I feel it's often hard to get much individual attention and am not sure I'm progressing as quickly as I might.

My fitness is good as I also run and do circuit training. I find this (fitness/conditioning) aspect of the classes I go to good, so it's not an issue with that. It's just technique etc. I feel I want to work on.

I go to a personal trainer once a week and am thinking of maybe doing a one on one kick boxing class instead. What would people's opinion be on that?

Also, would anyone know of someone good I could do this with in the Dundalk area? As far as I know, my instructor doesn't do one on one - he is so busy he doesn't have the time at a time that would suit me.

Also, ideas of cost? I would be hoping not to spend more than €20/€25 for a session.

Doing private sessions should greatly increase your rate of progression as long as you are also regular sparring and have a decent coach.

I'm not familar with kickboxing in Dundalk but I'm certain Dundalk Thai do privates, they actually have a show on tomorrow so you could go and check out what their fighters can do if you were interested.

Ask your instructor first. I assume you are in Mas-F. Wayne is in the club a lot during the day so ask him first. I will PM you something else I would rather not say on the forum.
