So AIB today are closing 44 branches with this figure rising to 67 by next year. Have all these staff members been made redundant?? Given the move to automated services there's hardly opportunities for them in other branches??

I believe that some of the staff are moving to the merged branches.

They won't have been made redundant, they will have been given that option or transfer elsewhere to offices remaining open where there may be vacancies due to voluntary redundancies there too.
