Schwarzenegger to return to Conan

Arnie's set to return to the role that launched his career in a new Conan film set for release in 2014. It will ignore Conan the Destroyer and the last Conan flick.
According to the producer, it'll pick up with Conan as an aging King looking for one last good fight. Chris Morgan, who wrote Wanted, is to write the script

I wish they'd just get Milius to do it. It's not like he has anything else to do. Didn't be have a script written and everything?

I'd love to see Arnie playing Cohen the Barbarian. It would gel well with "Last Action Hero", his previous (?) satire on the action genre.

Shame the recent Conan was a bomb as they get the look and feel of Conan down but sadly everything else felt like a low budget mid 90s made for TV Corman film.

Arnie as Conan could be pretty damn cool but at this stage he's far too old and the only way it will work is if the film follows his characters son. Really don't imagine that this is going to be made and of it does go ahead I expect the budget to be tiny.

I personally think this would be a waste of Aronld's talent. He would make a great James Bond, a worthy successor to Daniel Craig.

There is no such thing as pension schemes in the Conan world.

Its like saying Gandalf and all the troops retired on pension schemes in LOTR, just not possible!

They didn't even have pension schemes in Star Wars.

I've noticed how in several interviews he says that his last film before becoming Governor was in Terminator 3. He really wants to forget about "Around the World in 80 Days" which was his actual last role; obviously before The Expendables.
