can anyone say why a Triax TR212 volume control will not turn up the volume on a CRT telly. It is a telly from around 2003 I think. You can see the green* bar moving but the volume does not increase. Has to use the telly remote for the volume. Would tely be too old to be completely compatible?
The box is connected via scart if that matters

*Green they said i am not there

The TR212 remote cannot and will not control the volume of your TV set. Any other receiver is the same. The volume it controls is the output from within the box itself. It doesn't directly control the TV volume.

Hence why the volume onscreen graphic would differ to what you'd normally see when using TV remote.

but the sound should increase from the box then? The problem is no sound changes. With the Vision VST8010 remote the volume increases [from the box?]as the bar moves on the screen and a seperate remote is not needed for volume

Is the volume level on the TV itself too low already?

    Hi

Have you had any problems with the Triax TR212 freezing and requiring it to be plugged out to get it back to work?

Also, how do you delete a file. I cannot see any way to do so.

I have just started a thread with this question, so you might want to check to see if I get any replies.

    All the best

    Shane
