Anyone know what the going "rule of thumb" rate would be in Co. Kildare for a one storey extension on a bungalow ? Would 1000 EUR per square meter be close ?

€1150-1250 for typical construction.

If you're into poor ground and require piled foundations etc then forget about the above!
