It's arrived on channel 108, replacing the England BBC 1 HD. No dog. (NI postcode required)
    Hurrah.:D
Also on Freeview from yesterday with UTV HD.

Personally, I hope Sky keep BBC 1 HD London/England on the Irish epg. I find some of the programmes produced by BBC NI quite parochial. Also, BBC1 NI is on 215 in SD!

Could someone update the satellite frequency sticky thread with the new BBC HD frequencies for NI and the other UK nations? BBC 1 NI HD is DVB-S2 on 10.847 with a SR of 23000, FEC of 2/3, V polarisation, 8PSK modulation - the same mux as BBC 1 HD UK and BBC HD.

Think I will stick with the English Post code till UTV HD arrives on freesat

Well, I added ITV 1 HD to my Freesat list a couple of months ago, so I can work with that until UTV HD arrives. I have UTV HD on Freeview anyway, so the best of both worlds.

Well of course they are a little parochial, it's a regional channel, no sense in carrying London centred items, people in Northern Ireland want Northern Ireland news and programming some of the time. Most of it is the same as the national output anyway.
