    Hi Everyone,

I've been on the jobbridge scheme for the past 8 months and it ends in a few weeks. I've been offered a 3 day week at €85 gross per day so should be able to collect a partial Jobseekers Allowance payment of about €60 a week if my calculations are right. Is this something I can arrange with social welfare now, as technically I'm still on State Benefits and it should be a matter of just switching over or do I have to wait until the internship finshes in a few weeks? Advice from someone who has been in a similar situation would be great.

    Thanks,
    Jennifer

You will have to wait until your jobbridge is finished as you are not currently employed per see. You will then need to inform sw office that you have a part time/casual job...you will be give forms up14b and up16 to have completed by your employer and will be issued dockets for you to submit every week. While this is being processed you current claim will be payment suspended as you means from employment will have to be assessed.
