    Hey Guys,
Just bought a second hand mountain bike. A bit of an impulse buy tbh. Just looking for some opinions on it. I went mountain biking for the first time there last weekend and loved it. Could turn into a cool hobby for myself as i have friends who love it. Sorry if some of the information ive supplied is not important.

    Ive also attached some pics

    Its a EST TREK 4300.

Pretty good nick 19'' frame, few nicks and scratches
    Bontrager seat and handlebar
    Wellgo pedals
    Shimano gears
    Front Suspension RST
Missing front brake but back works ok
I payed £100 for the bike

    Thanks in advance

don't go anywhere next or near a mountain (or even a road tbh) until you get this fixed.
If this were tomorrow I'd also point out the erroneous thread title, but i'll let that slide in light of the more serious issue.

Get the front brake sorted you'll just kill yourself on a trail otherwise. You'll also need new rear pads in no time.

It's a grand bike but prob just needs a little bit of work.

Yes im going to get the brake fixed. Im dropping it to the bike guy in a bit. Was that price ok? Its obviously not a top range mountain bike, just a starter. I will also use it for commuting
