1992, according to their Wikipedia page.

Check it out before someone in the school spots the description of Pat Cox! :D

I remember the day well, Ray Darcy came to the school and we started slagging him about Zig and Zag, at first he thought it was funny until we kept up the slags and he got a little annoyed with it. If you saw the state of the lads that won the competition, absolute nerds. Mickey then went on about how winning the competition only asserted his view that we were "the finest school in Ireland".

I have an ardscoil ris yearbook From my first year there 93-94 and there were photographs of d'arcy, mickey and the team so I'd say 1993 is bang on.It also gave rise to that stupid 'we won blackboard jungle' chant at schools rugby matches.
