Dental Practices - software/spreadsheets/data/processes

    Hi,

    Ideally I would like responses from people with considerable experience of the day-to-day administration within a dental practice.

    I have worked in business processes/software/databases/spreadsheets for over 20 years and would include significant blue chip bodies on my CV.

    Generally, I am known for my ability to reduce workloads with minimal pain!

    I am now freelance and need to generate business - hence my research.

    I was wondering;

    1. How efficient are the software systems used in dental practices?

    2. Do you use large complicated spreadsheets/databases?

    3. Do you feel your administration costs could be reduced?

    4. Do you end up keying patient data into one system and then another?

    5. Bottom Line: Do you believe that I should pursue the dental practice market. I would tend to offer services on an hourly/daily basis. So no major committment.
