I dont know much about cars, when I drove my car this morning as I was taking off I heard a kind of scraping noise that seems to be coming from the front passenger side wheel, as I sped up the noise went, I will get it checked out but I was wondering do ye think it could be something to do with the brake pads or something more serious? The car is a 2006 VW golf. Thanks.

Could be a stone lodged in somewhere.

    What car is it?

    it could be:
    • Stuck Caliper
    • Warped Brake Disc
    • Something wedged in the wheel (a can/stone)
    • A heavy unblanaced wheel
    • Low pressure
