Another year of fluctuating input/sale prices nearly over.

Is anyone forward buying or locking in on fuel or fertiliser for 2013 or produce for sale e.g grain.?

Only prices I have for next year so for sulpher CAN €300/t and 10-10-20 €450 delivery in spring....

Wht do people reckon is going to happen as regards prices?

will probably take a paper position for some of our feed grain for next year, maybe 30% as the fluctions are too much for small operations to be hit with. Have being doing a little playing around for the last year or so. will forward buy physical feed, but this is always for under 6 months delivery as none of my merchants will commit to anything longer. We dont use enough fertiliser to worry too much about price. funny the way farming is heading
