LG Tv but sky wont display?

Hi, just bought a 32'' LG ls35 tv today. its working perfect but it wont recognise my sky box when its turned on. Ive triple checked the cables and swapped sky boxes but its the same.

I assume you have selected correct source?

As in HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 etc

How is your sky box connected to the TV, i.e. scart connection or hdmi lead. Have you switched on the sky box & then changed the av inputs on the TV?

I did just changed the scart lead and its working perfect , another thing to throw in the bin!
