Is there an online car database for quick car comparisons?

I'm looking for one for quick cross referencing cars if there is one?

Important things like: engine size, claimed mpg, bhp etc.

But also more practical things like: boot capacity, rear passanger space etc.

At least then you can make a decision based on facts rather than opinions.

Is there one?

I find a hard copy of WhatCar is handier. There's so much info to digest.

The likes of carzone does a spec comparison.

Figures don't tell the whole story though.

If comparing performance cars was all about stats we would all own/wish to own Evo 7-8-9's

Thanks for the suggestions folks.

While all great, I was hoping there was one where you can select a few cars and put them side-by-side for quick cross referencing of stats.

I wasn't talking about performance cars, only looking for stats for everyday practical cars.

For new cars there is. It's called Jatonet and it's really rather expensive.

Used to have access years ago and you could choose up to 5 cars and the comparison would export to an excel spreadsheet with various tabs listing performance, dimensions, equipment etc.

Fantastic tool, but I think it's around €10,000 a year for on-line access and that would be on top of buying the data. Not sure if the online tool is available by itself.

Carzone used to have a scaled down version of that, but it dissapeared a couple of years ago when they stopped also listing the options and pricing (Grrrr). There is still a lot of information on new cars via the new car tab on Carzone (looks like data pulled from Jato). Good enough info there to put your own comparison together.

If it's used cars, you'll struggle to find decent information.

The only problem is it is in Polish.
AS far as i know there is no such a thing here, or even in the uk.
Apart from technical data like sizes/boot capacity etc, you will find bhp/torque and even compression ratio of engines.
