Blackberry bold problem

Girlfriend has a blackberry bold. Basically and randomly it keeps deleting all her calendar entries. The phone has never been connected to a laptop, she doesnt have any other calender synced with it, as far as she was ever concerned she was just using the phones actual calendar. Now in the settings it says calendar used is "facebook" but there is no other option there. When you open the drop down menu there is only facebook to choose. No facebook stuff is showing on her phone calendar. It is also st to keep all appointments indefinitely.

Has anyone got any ideas, I read stuff online but it is all making my head hurt.
