    Enthusiastic and Driven Bass player wanted for an alternative dance beat driven rock band. Some one with a distinctive flair and a strong stage presence is a definite must. The ability to sing backing vocals would be an added bonus.

    We want someone with a professional attitude and professional ability. Only serious people will be entertained, all other members at present have been heavily involved in the Irish music scene for a number of years. If you can provide demos for our listening that would be great but we will organize a meet up to get the ball rolling and meet people.

    Band Genre: Rock / Dance / Alternative / Electro
    Band Location: Dublin
    Influences: everything
    Potentially sounds like: The Killers / Muse / Modest Mouse / The Temper trap / The Big Pink / Pink Floyd / Red Hot chilli peppers a big mix of the lot really

    Desired Age Range: 21-35

    I really like the bands u posted ...I am confident as a player but don't have much live experience.....so is that a pre requisite ?
    I wouldnt be flea level at this stage...is that the level u require
    all those other bands u mention are handy to play on the bass
    I would like to play like Flea, Mark King, Entwhistle and all the great bassists....but I need time...if u are willing to let me hone my skill
    but I will repeat stuff like Floyd and the Killers is dead easy on the bass

    hey maguirearch good to hear from you ....the bass players and music in the add was just to give an idea .not looking for people hwo can really play like flea but if you can then great ......send us your e mail and i will send you sone of our tracks and we will be in the studio next tuesday i think so would be good if you could pop in and have a chat and bring your bass and see how it goes you know...
