Disapointed with Knowhow team & laptop purchase

I purchased a laptop from Currys/PC world in Dundalk 3 years ago. I was happy with my purchase until November of last year. I accidently spilled a bit of soup on it. Luckily I bought insurance with the laptop and was able to get it fixed. I should mention that I got it back after 23 days. And after that repair my laptop started giving me problems only, the largest of which was DC port and charger. So I brought it to repair again in August and got it back after 3 weeks time. I don't think there was any repair done as I had to take it back to shop on 8 October again. I couldn't work with the laptop at all as it just kept switching off because of DC port wasn't working. I need that computer to do all my work and studies and now it's third week when it's repaired. In last two month I used my computer 4 weeks only - that's a half of all time. The laptop I owned previous to this one gave me no trouble for 6 years, I was travelling and carrying it everywhere. I made number of calls to the Knowhow team in UK which cost me a lot of money and unfortunately no one couldn't tell what's going with my laptop. I went to the shop where I bought the laptop and got the same answer - we will check that. They all promised to call me back and give any updates on this issues. Till today I didn't receive any call from the shop nor from the Knowhow in UK. It just feels like I am getting no where, very annoyed and very fed up. I just want a properly working laptop. Can someone advise what options or legal actions do I have in this situation?

Check the warranty, I presume you have something in writing?

If it's been repaired that many times for the same issue, id argue it's replacement time.

I thought so as well. But I was told in the shop that the laptop is 3 years old and I can't expect it to be replaced...

Do you have the warranty in writing, they have to stand by what that document says. If not, it's small claims court time imo.

I have an insurance which expires this weekend. They don't want to replace the laptop and I have an impression that the repair is held while the insurance expires that they could charge me for it.

Again, do you have it in writing, you'll need to go through it with a fine comb, and then once you know what it says you can call them on it.
