    Hi,
I have a built in car tv (2006). Does anyone know what would be the best thing to do in order to get tv signal back in the car? I used to get the few channels on the aerial but now I guess I wont with the switch to saorview.
Is this just unfortunate or does anyone know of a solution? I am guessing that the regular saorview box would not be compatible, or would it?
    Thanks..

Some of the recievers are 12V DC - so they should power from the battery no problem.

you then need to split the antenna cable, the end going from the antenna needs to plug into the "RF In" on the saorview box.

The "RF out" going to the car tv, then tune the car tv to UHF channel 32 - 48, depending on the saorview box.

(you also need to make sure saorview box has a UHF modulator installed.

you'd need to make sure the 12VDC is switched by your keys in the ignition so you don't run down you battery!!

If u didn't want to cut any cables, you could always install a small second aerial, and use a wireless UHF transmitter device (peanuts on ebay)
