    Hi,

I searched to see if there is a thread on this but I cant see anything up to date so apologies if I've missed it.

I'm working fulltime and I'm interested in a job that is going to be a 3 day week for the 1st 6 months and then it will go full time. The salary is €30,000

I'm wondering if I can claim for the 2 days that Im not working? I'm guessing I cant as its my choice to leave a fulltime job.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice please?

    Thanks

In order to claim casual (part time JSB) you must be able to show a substantial loss of days in employment. As you will have taken up 3 day a week employment you may find this will stop your claim.
