It's an expensive item so make sure it is indeed the problem before you spend the money.
    What issues are you seeing?

Thanks for your interest. I have nt done a full diagnosis yet, but all the tell tale symptoms are there. Light fault icons coming up. Fog light fault icon. Indicators blinking rapidly, even though all bulbs working. Hazard lights work perfectly, and when indicators are switched on simultaneously they blink normally too, but not when used alone. Also have had opinion of friendly technician.

Tbh I don't think you can repair it if it indeed is the FRM module.
If I was you I'd check with a local BMW mechanic just to make sure.

Possibly you can source a second hand module on ebay or other sites. Maybe someone is breaking a crashed bmw on www.adverts.ie? Maybe www.traynors.co.uk has one.

Make sure you have the correct part number, is something like 6135913328xxx
Put your details into www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do, it'll give you the part number.
