TV Star T1010 HD USB PVR box and SKY

Hi


I have asky dish and sky receiver to pick up the free to Air channels (non-subscription)but when I connected the aerial that was connected to the TV to the TVStar T1010 HD USB PVR box and connected the scart lead to the TV Star T1010 HDUSB PVR box and to the TV, I am able to pick up the Digital channels (RTE, TV3,etc..) but now I cannot get the free to Air channels.


How to I fixthis.


Any helpappreciated.

Did the Sky box have a scart connection to the tv? Does your tv have HDMI connections?

Hi

No the sky box was not connected to the TV by scart, there are 2 cables from the wall connected to the sky box and then a cable from the sky box to the TV (aerial socket). The aerial cable from the wall was also connected to the sky box.

Yes, there is a HDMI socket on the TV.

Is the Sky box a HD model? Does the tv have more than 1 HDMI connection?

No the SKY box is not HD, and not to sure if the TV has more than 1 HDML connections.

I was wondering do i need to make a connection between the RF Loop through connection at the back of the TV Star T1010 HDUSB PVR box and the aerial socket on the TV

Use the HDMI connection for the TVStar box & scart for the Sky box. No point connecting anything to the tv's aerial input if it can't receive Saorview.

just to confirm, are you recommending to connect the TV and TVStar Box by the HDMI connection and connect the TVStar Box to the sky box by scart or is it connect the sky box to the TV by scart.
