Recently bought a Tag a few months ago in a store in Dublin and was passing by the other day and noticed it had increased by almost €380 on the rrp since I bought it

Is this typical for watch prices to fluctuate like this?

My (very limited) understanding of watch prices, is the major brands are very paranoid about pricing - and one of the ways they keep the image of the brand high is to, every so often, bump the price up - it's a perception thing in my opinion i.e. if it's more expensive it must be better!

A simpler explanation, which is probably more accurate, is the weakness of the Euro to the CHF (Swiss Franc) which has been heading in a one way direction for quite some time!
