Email from IS Services to all Students -

Students should be aware that their Datapac account PIN will be reset on Tuesday, 23rd October, before 7am.

All Datapac accounts will be updated with the new PIN and existing PINs will no longer work. A new default PIN will be emailed immediately after the reset process. This email will be sent to your College Email address and will come from helpdesk@tcdprint.ie with the subject line ‘New PIN’. Students will be able to logon to the Datapac website at tcdprint.ie to change their PIN to one of their own personal perference.

Please contact helpdesk@tcdprint.ie if you have any questions, or see our managing your print account webpage for help and guidance.

We do our best in the Library to put a stop to the facebook browsers but it's not easy. Strictly speaking the BLU PC's should be used for accessing databases and e-journals through the Library's webpage only. Have a word with the Duty Librarian if someone is blatantly flouting the rule.

Remember you have four hours to print up an item once it's sent to the printer, and you can print it from any photocopier/printer in the College.

You could ask Datapac about printing from laptops - helpdesk@tcdprint.ie - we have been told that it's imminent.

Would it not make sense to block social networking sites on library computers?
