Hi there, looking for advice on a flash for my canon 60D, looking at investing in a flash as im getting into portrait photography, i have a canon 50mm f/1.4, looking for a good flash. i been looking at the 'canon 430ex II' any advice on where to get best price, can get on ebay for €226 factory new, from (hong kong) but would i get caught with customs!? I'm sort of new to flash so any particularly good links or webpages on this i should look at!? am i better to buy a third party make and save money or invest in a canon model which i know will work.!

I'm pretty sure that customs will charge you 23% VAT plus import duty.
I would go for 580ex mark i for circa €300 or you can get 430ex ii on Ebay for similar price - used, but still with warranty.
