    Ceefax will be switched off forever tonight, when Northern Ireland becomes the final UK region to complete the Digital Switchover.

    I used to love Ceefax - long before the Internet it was the place to go to catch up on News, Sport, TV Listings, Jokes, Recipes, Entertainment News and lots more. It was a pioneer of rolling news - fast, reliable, and concise.

    Before Sky and Dodgy streams became the norm, Ceefax was king of the football scores. There was nothing like the tension of waiting for the multipage to tick over, as the games approached the final whistle.

    Goodbye Ceefax, and thanks for the memories :)
